Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate as well as the captain of the 2012's Fierce Five, in addition to the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics she took gold both on the team floor as well as the individual events. Bronze was taken with using the balance bar. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to achieve the highest number of medals at the Olympics. The 2016 Olympics brought her the gold medal in the team competition, which earned both she and Gabby the distinction as the first Americans ever to have consecutive team golds. She also won silvers in the individual all around event and for floor work. Between the two Olympics she took off from gymnastics competition for three years. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American team at 2 World Championships. She learned gymnastics from the age of 2 and her favorite event is Floor Exercise. Aly has enrolled in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandma. Aly plans on pursuing a career as a designer. Her future goals include growing her line of leotards. Fierce is a book that she will release later this year.
